Sr. Shereen Abdelhalim​
​My name is Shereen Abdelhalim. I hold a master’s degree in English, and I have over 20 years of teaching experience in various language learning settings.

My teaching experience includes a variety of English courses such as reading, literary analysis, poetry, comparative literature, drama, English grammar, writing mechanics, research writing, and translation studies. I am also an experienced translator, and I currently serve as a senior lecturer at the University of Louisville in addition to my duties at ISL.

I am a firm believer in the value of Islamic education and that every student deserves nothing less than excellence in academics and Islamic values! As a mother of two children who attend the school, I am very excited to work with all my students and see them achieve their goals.
