​My name is Janan Sarwar, and I am excited to join the Islamic School of Louisville as a middle school Social Studies teacher. I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and have a professional background in education, publishing, and healthcare. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed creating educational resources, mentoring others, and fostering a love of lifelong learning.
As both a teacher and the mother of three ISL students, I am passionate about providing an engaging learning environment rooted in academic excellence and Islamic values. I look forward to helping students explore history, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
