​Khadijah Ahmad

Khadijah Ahmad joins us this year as our Junior K classroom teacher.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kentucky.  Her work experience includes working with preschool and elementary students in the Lexington area.  As an Islamic school alumni, she is excited to work with our kids to guide and develop them to their greatest potential.  ​

I am Somaya Aljouja, a graduate of the Faculty of Sharia at Damascus University. I joined ISL School in 2025 after teaching Islamic Studies and Arabic in Syria and Saudi Arabia. I am passionate about educating children and supporting their cultural and social development in a warm and engaging way.​
