Arabic

Our students receive a bilingual education starting from the Preschool class, which sets them up for spiritual and professional benefits that will last a lifetime. The daily Arabic class enables our students to more effectively grasp the meaning of the Holy Quran in its original language.

Our Arabic program follows a sequential program in which students develop their reading, writing and speaking ability.  Students learn a combination of modern standard and classical Arabic with an emphasis on Tajwid (pronunciation and accent).  Our bilingual education benefits our students in other ways. Arabic is one of the the six official languages of the United Nations and the dominant language spoken in the Middle East and North Africa.

A bilingual education provides ISL students with a career edge later in life and allows insight into a rich and historic culture.
